"South County's Home of the Blues! Following a 2008 motorcycle trip to discover first-hand the roots of rock, blues and R & B music via Memphis and New Orleans, I discovered the tastes and sounds of the south first hand. It inspired me to open a blues club and restaurant if the opportunity arose. So when Happy Dog Pizza came up for sale in the historic Gilroy firehouse, I thought, why not? From there the Firehouse Bar & Grill emerged, a bar & grill in Gilroy reflecting the culinary and cultural ambience of New Orleans. Complete with outdoor seating on the sidewalk and southern style deck upstairs, jazz and blues piping through outside speakers, live music on weekends and the fine Louisianan food, visitors truly can experience the Big Easy in downtown Gilroy! I invite you check us out and see for yourself what the buzz is all about. Dan Craig, Founder"
