- Lots of Canned Beer.
- 1-2 Rolls of Duct Tape.
- At Least 1 type of hard alcohol (for one or more boss).
- 1 Alcoholic or 2 or more people ( the more the merrier).

Explanation of Rules:

- As with any drinking game, chances are there will be some people who have played different versions of the game.
- You also should establish at what level the boss must be fought. Typically this is every 3rd or 5th level.
- It may be useful to have a dry erase board or write down some of the rules, should there be a dispute later in the game.

Start Drinking:

- The game is played by drinking beer. Like many drinking games, it is a test of ability drink + endurance + ability to perform basic functions while drunk.
- When the game is started every one is given a full beer which they must drink. Once this first beer is finished, the drinker becomes a "Level 1 Wizard". This is called "Leveling up".
- The drinker must then take a new beer and duct tape it to the top of the beer just finished. The new beer is now atop the finished beer and ready to be consumed.
- Once this second beer is finished, the player may level up again. He/she is now a Level 2 Wizard.
- The game is continued in this manner by each player with interruptions at the pre-determined levels to "fight the boss"
-Once level 10 is reached a player may refer to himself in the third person, and may find squires to do his/he bidding. Wizards may now command others to get them more wizard juice (beer), etc.

Fighting the Boss:

- During the rules explanation, it will be determined whether the Boss must be fought at every 3rd, 5th or 7th level.
- This means that to ascend to that level (if it is every 3rd, then Level 3, 6, 9 , and so on) you must take a shot of hard alcohol before actually becoming that next level wizard.
- For example, between finishing the 3rd level and starting the 4th level the boss must be fought.
- One way the game can be played is to have the Level 3 Boss be called Boss Jim (if you are drinking Jim Beam) and then have Level 6 be Boss Jose or Cuervo (if you have Jose Cuervo).
- Ideally you will have enough different types of alcohol so that every boss level is a different alcohol.
- *Note: Mixing types of alcohol will get the players significantly drunk.

How to Win:

- The winner of the game is the person who reaches the highest level.
- If there is a cash prize, or a prize of another nature (determined at the beginning of the game) you may have an awards ceremony for the winner - but it isn't necessary.
- All players may carry around their staffs after the game is finished.
- In the end, everyone wins due to how much alcohol they were able to consume and because they now known how to play Wizard's Staff.
