She started out as an acoustic musician, and through the years has explored many genres and musical styles. She has played most of the festivals down the west-coast,and toured in Europe, Australia, and Hawaii. She spent many years in a group called the Freedom Tribe, and then went on to create her own band, the Sasha Butterfly band.
