If you’ve always wanted to learn a different language or play an instrument, why not use your Sunday afternoon to do just that? Spend Time in Your Garden

If you have a garden, Sunday afternoons are a good time to potter around. You are out in the fresh air and spending time in the sun. Your body needs ultraviolet light from the sun to produce Vitamin D, which is vital for your health. 

Gardening has also been shown to reduce stress and elevate your mood.

Catch Up with Family or Friends

Make a phone call or video call to catch up with the people you love. Try and set up a time after lunch to have plenty of time to chat with the people you don’t see often. 


Again, this might not sound like a lazy activity, but gentle exercise can be relaxing. Do some yoga or pilates, or go for a walk. Exercise boosts your fitness, confidence, and mood. 

Pamper Yourself

Adding Epsom salts to your water can help reduce stress, among other health benefits. It’s even a great exfoliator. When you’re done with your bath, make sure to lather your skin in a beautifully scented body butter.
