Congrats, you are now finally halfway through guzzling down your own designer brew. Once all the wort has been drained off the tun, boil the liquid into a large kettle to kill off all the microbes. Boiling the liquid not only kills off all the nasty bacteria from the liquid, the heat will also draw alpha acids and other awesome elements from the hops, into the wort.
Pro Tip: After boiling, let the reduced wort sit a while longer than normal to settle the spices out!
